Hey everybody,

I'm thinking of switching to oversized bars for my 01 cr250. If I decide to go with the universal adapters instead of a new triple clamp, will i have to lose the rubber mounting?

Have you seen any universal mounts with different offsets or am I going to have to fork over the money for a triple clamp too?

thanks,
coperam

not sure on the different offsets or lack there of, but I know that with the Tag T2 mounts you reuse your existing rubber. Perfect fit

MotoXsparx,

Thanks for the reply. That's what I wanted to know.

Now, would the applied bar mounts (found here) work? I like the offsets available.

Thanks again,
coperam

bar mounts

i just got billet ones from emig racing,$55.00 and a 3mm offset and paige emig was very helpful in offering two different styles and getting a quality product shipped to me in a reasonable amount of time.

TAG Bar Mounts

I bought the TAG T2 "optional bar mounts" and they work great. You can rotate them 180 degrees for a different offset or use the stock offset.
Paid $40 for the set.
You have to reuse the stock rubber mounts/grommets.
