I have a new noise and am wondering if I should be concerned and if anyone else has it.
In neutral with the clutch pulled in it sounds fine. when I let out the clutch I get increased noise and vibration.
It doesn't seem to affect performance and my shifting is fine.
This is a new noise. I always keep plenty of fresh oil in it. I ran a magnet around the oil when I changed it the other day and found some small metal shavings. This may be normal, I don't know.
Anyone know what it could be. Should I just continue to ride it?

Thanks, Steve

I'm surprised it's a "new" noise, it's a very well known KDX quirk. I've had a 96 200 and now a 2003 220, both rattle with the clutch out in neutral at idle.

J. Fredette says run a full quart of oil in the gear box to help with this prob. I've been doing this since the begining of the season and it seems to help some.
