Used price on a 2003 KX65

Going to be getting my son a different bike for the next season. Been looking at the KX65's and the prices seem to vary quite a bit.

What is a 2003 bone stock KX65 that is in excellent condition worth. Guy claims to have only ran 1 pint of Kawi Chem through the thing and it looks like it. Bike had one scrape on the front fender and a minor boot scuff on the metal on the right hand side - otherwise the bike is perfect.

The bike you described would sell for around the NADA "Average Retail" of $1755, around here (southern NJ).

Engine condition

Drop the pipe and inspect piston and cylinder.
Not familiar with the kawi's but on the KTM65; when bottom end was bad, you could feel the slop in magneto.
Reasonable seller should let you check this stuff.

I wouldnt pay too much for one. you can get one OTD for $2550 around here new. $1800 sounds more like it.

Local shop had one sitting on the show room floor that was a left over for $1700.

Hello, I sold my sons 2003 KX65 with lots of extras for $2100. It had Rethal bars, ASV levers, Flo green and black plastic, N-Style graphics, Doma pipe an silencer, frame guards, rad brace, and skid plate. Basically lots of stuff, plus a big box of extra stuff like cables, tubes, factory plastic, complete extra graphics kit. Just to give you an idea of what was there.

So a bone stock bike, I wouldn't think should sell for more than $1600-$1700 if it's perfect.
