using exhaust SAS to vent crankcase.

My ktm lc4 came with a system to allow air into the exhaust manifold for enviromental reasons. I think it is causing my bike to backfire on decelleration so I was planning to take it off.

Then I had an idea, what if I use it to vent my crankcase. Would this decrease the crankcase pressure, decreasing the pumping losses at high rpm. Also, with the crankcase no longer vented to my airbox, the engine should breathe a little better.
Has anyone tried such a thing?
Will it give any more power?
Is it because of dumb-assed ideas like this that I don't get laid more often?
