so i've narrowed my selections down to a a enduro. Ultimately, it's going to be the V-Strom or the Versys.
everywhere i go, both bikes seem to get very positive ratings, and i can't make up my mind. both bikes are very similar in prices also.
I like the V-strom because it looks like a street bike. The Versys has a very different, yet unique look that may or may not seem appealing to some people. Nevertheless, i like the Versys too.
Aside asthetics, i'm looking for which bike might be more dependable, reliable in the long run. the Versys did win Motorcycle of the Year, but i'm looking for some personal experiences or comments of what you have for these bikes.
im 5'9, 148 lbs..i'm mostly going to do streets, but when i do go offroading, i'll be on the desert. i live at vegas so theres nothing out here cept desert dirt/sand..
some long trips im planning in the future are trips to cali/washington..which could easily be 300-800 miles..which is better for a long distance trip?
