I couldn't resist posting this. My 10 year old daughter made the comment during the vintage races this past Sunday, "watch out dad, you'd better get way back from the edge of the track, those vintage bikes don't stop very good."
I got a good laugh out of it but the truth is, learning to ride myself on the "vintage" bikes when they weren't vintage, they did make me wonder how people ever did the things they did on those bikes when that was all there was. what looked so trick back then but now seem so cumbersome in retrospect to the new bikes. I wonder what the 2030 model bikes will look like, guess I'll just have to wait & see.
