Volt regulator

well my IT175 burns out lights and i tested it and when i reved it went way above the 6 volts its supose to i am gonna buy a volt regulator. but i don't know where to put it

I imagine you could mount it on the frame anywhere that is easy to wire into and out of the way.

I think that they are usually underneath the seat.

i know where to put it but donwt know where the wirering is supost to go

The regulator you buy should come with some info and instructions. I think there will only be two wires - one for ground and one that will attach to your light's power wire.
