Watchdog vs ICO Checkmate

Besides the big price differance which one is the better purchase. Is one easier to program than the other? Is one just easier to use than the other? I'm looking for simplisity during the race also. Please help my local shop, which sells both, is not alot of help.

I really don't know anything about the Checkmate, but I have a WatchDog and love it.

It's cake to program a race, has all the functions I need during a race on one page, is relatively inexpensive, is bullet-proof, and has a host of new features if you buy the newest version (mine is an older one). Can't wrong with a WatchDog as far as I can tell ...

Thanks Eel, I belive I talked to you at the TWMC enduro, with Ed. I wish the weather would of worked out better so we could of got some riding in and I could check out your watchdog somemore, because I think thats the one I'm going to go with.
