OMG.. what a freakin dog track.
Quads all over, people riding the track without helmets, gear of any kind...
Food cooking on rusted-out trash cans
Dust
Lip'd out jumps
Dust
car bodies
quads
quads
3 on a bike, no helmets, on the track
and, quads.

Ack. It's GOT to be the worst public track on the planet.

But did you try the chicken??????????

You forgot to mention that the loam is so deep it would be totally possible to roller skate around the whole thing.

You guys actually ate that stuff? GAG. I guess I'm just a little too picky :p

Thump got a flat within 20 minutes... I think it was a car part sticking out of a jump face :) That place is an experience for sure. I can't say I've ever ridden in a junk yard before, freakin Deliverance music stuck in my head too.

For the record I have never eaten the complimentary cuisine at Shady. I don't think I've ever been that hungry, ever. I have however run over a couple car parts though.

:) I didn't eat the chicken or sausage either, but my buddy did....said it was really good....but cooked on a rusty barrel lid though...hmmmm. You gotta give the old guy kudos though for making the effort. I don't know of any other place to ride where the bubba Q is free....

Comon guys, a little rust never hurt anyone...........I remember when I was just a young'un I had to get up at 03:30 to walk 27 miles uphill to school in 18 inches of snow at 13 degrees below zero over broken glass with no shoes carrying 77 pounds of books. When school was out, I had to walk 27 miles uphill (again) home just so I could hoe 103 acres of corn, do the laundry, milk the cows and chop firewood before bedtime at 01:30. Oh wait, never mind, wrong story........... :)

When I was a kid, all we had to eat was rust. And we were happy to get it, too.

I didn't think rust had been invented yet when you were a kid?

Well, it was stone rust, not that fancy store-bought rust you see nowadays.

You know what?.... That crappy, lipped out, trashed track does teach you to ride. You learn to deal with crappy jump faces, powder sugar coated concrete corners, stupid obstacles, crapping in the junk... and much more than I can list. I can just imagine the whining about a national caliber track.... It's too rough, the people are wierd, and the food sucks. LOL

I'll take riding at that track over no riding anyday!

It burns it bunrss............that old guy there is half crazy. Man, old dudes can really give 13 year old kids a scare. I'm never going back there. I flipped over the handlebars after riding over a mysterious care piece, but it looked more like cow crap. ahhhhhhhhhhh
