What is the difference between a 2004 Crf250R motor and a 2007?

My bike just recently blew up because of the small oil reservoirs in the 2004 models and I just ordered a new 07 Crf250R motor and I am wondering if it runs stronger, has more power, has more snap, etc. I would very much appreciate some help, thank you.

From what I hear, the 2007 has the best porting.

Yep, 2004-2009 will fit in eachothers cases without any mods, they just bolt right in.

It blew because of the small oil capacity or because the small capacity was not kept at the proper level? Or maybe because the oil volume had nothing to do with it and it was just it's time to expire due to lack of maintenance. :think:
