o ring

I think the o ring you are referring to is meant to be used on the governor plug. That is the part that holds the seal that slides on the KIPS valve governor rod. I know that is not a real clear answer so I will try to explain more clearly. If you look at the right hand side of your engine you will see a rod that comes up from the clutch cover, that rod connects to a rod that runs through your cylinder from right to left. The rod that passes through the cylinder is called the governor rod. On the right hand side of the engine where the governor rod enters the cylinder there is a seal that is held in a housing of sorts. That housing is a slide fit in the cylinder and has an o ring groove in its outer circumference. The o ring fits in the groove. I hope this helps. Ben
