what suspension fits 2000 ktm 300 exc?

Good Day,

I have been inactive in the dirt for the last 10 years or so and I'd like to improve the suspension on my old plated 300exc. I've got a couple of bikes and ride this one the least so I don't want to spend too much. I am capable of servicing the fork and if anyone has any of those old unattainable "ebay" fork kits laying around let me know. Otherwise what simple options have I got for updating the fork and shock?

As a 2009 YZ250 rider I can only recommend those SSS sets. Best suspension so far I know. Ebay is where you should get lucky.

I am kinda trying to not spend more than the bikes current value on suspension. Reading loads of threads but I am still not clear but I believe 05-06 SXF Shock or 07 XC or WCW maybe the ticket. Anyone care to comment, I have been out of the off road scene for awhile and would love some current insight?

You can improve the valving on those a lot.

No need to do a fork swap . Then you really open up a can of worms.

Best place to improve the forks is in the mid-valve.
