Cool looking bike! It's gotta be a stunt bike. Look at the name "Tricker".
The scary part is that this past weekend while talking to my 8 year old nephew, we were talking about motorcycles and stunts. He asked me if I could "grind" my dirtbike down a log. I said "No, but I bet they'll have one that will before too long".
This is what is says when you go to the main page...
OCT 24--WHAT IS THIS?
It’s Yamaha’s answer to X-Game-Freestyle hysteria. Take a look at the Tricker up close. It even has a headlight for night jumping. We'll give you more details when we get them. (click on the photo to make larger)
This thing isn't too far removed from some of today's ultra-aggressive, high-travel downhill mountain bikes. Check out the seat. Very bicycle-like. The frame cofiguration is very similar as well.
My guess is that it's aimed at the DH MTB crowd. No one wants to pedal a 50 lb. DH rig uphill! Might be marketed to lure the DH crowd one step closer to full-on MX. Kinda cool, I think.:)
Air cooled? Pegs look worthless. Tires don't look like they would be much help for trials and the rotors would end up tweaked (rock and log magnets). The silly grind pegs on the front and back would get in the way too. Now the really wied part. If it's a FMX bike how long will that swingarm last? My guess? Some morphed freestyle/trials/flatland trick bike. Don't know that I'd want to blow a peg grind and have it land on ME.
How could your ride it? You couldn't sit down your knees would stick out. You couldn't stand as the you would slide off the pegs. Looks like the chain needs tightened. Is that a Rox Shox Boxxer? I do think that it looks cool. Notice the dead man laynard. Definitely MTB downhill.
