obviously it was made to be out front and not eat roost, due to the lack of fork tube protectors.

the more I look at it the more I like it :) it sickens me, yet I cannot look away :D

totally dig it. :)

I suppose they are hoping to make a flatland and trick bike out of it. I'd love to see it in action with somebody that knows how to 'kick it' .

It's like a freaky looking one-off concept SUV, but in this case, it's a cool bike! I love it.

I noticed much complaining about the foot pegs... SO WHAT? This bike isn't designed for us. The person using this bike needs to get off and move around on dry asphalt. Think of it the same way you do about the lack of seat on a trials bike. This bike was NOT meant for the woods. Or for that matter, moisture, mud or dirt. Probably designed to go 25mph with some sagging pants dork, with a bad haircut and tennis shoes, to show off his balance and vert skills.

It's where you go when you're 30 years old and realize that all your friends at the skatepark are 12 and 13. It's time to move on... :)

Okay, studied it some more.

That is absolutely the next generation FMX bike. That's evolution in action. Hope it's legit and not a concept only machine.

Looks like a freestyle trials bike, trials guys can do some awesome stuff, I would love to see a mix of trials and street BMX ramp park thing :) . Gas Gas has a similar trails bike with a seat too. I think the seat should be adjustable so you can put it down when your tricking out and up so you can actually ride it around the trails to the next rock park :) .

Wow! That thing is kewl, I want one. Yamaha definitly has the knack for finding niches. It looks like it would be far more fun then a trials bike, sort of a motorized BMX/downhill bike.

Yamaha Tricker

This is currently just a concept bike.

I saw this bike at the Tokyo Motor Show last month. It is a 223cc SOHC 2-valve single 4-stroke (engine same as the one used in their flattracker). It was designed as an, "X-series sports bike..." to mix BMX/trials/motocross. It was about the same size as a trials bike, very small and compact.

Too bad it isn't street legal. Man, would that be fun! I'm not sure how big the market would be for it but then I thought the same thing about those YSR 50's and they seemed to be pretty popular.
