I went as a tired old man... wait... I didn't go anywhere except grocery shopping and my g/f house. But I looked like a very tired and very old man... just as I planned to be for Halloween.

The Kid went as an orange highway barrel. Here he's trying out the costume.

I helped run a haunted house for/with the local Tae Kwon Do gym, and wore a black cloak that had huge dangling sleeves. I had one of those faceless black hoods too, with a big spiked collar.

I was a "black spikey collared wraith."

We filled up the room with fog and other things like that, and then when the kids came in thinking they were going to simply receive candy, we snapped off the lights and chased them around the room. With the fog and no lights, visibility was roughly 4 feet.

The problem with this is that my cloak was adult sized (and I am "fun sized" [y'know like the candy bar]). I can't count the number of times that I fell, or other people stepped on my cloak and made me fall.

As a really funny side note, one poor child decided to pretend that he wasn't scared, and began giving attitude to all of us (y'know the 7-8 year old type "I can take you anytime you punk ghost demon!!"

I let him get away with it until he started really misbehaving and throwing props at other kids and people...

So I bodily snatched him up and laughed deeply and evilly yelled (and loudly, which was pretty funny because I am small and female) "YOU'RE MINE NOW LITTLE KID!!!" and carried him running towards a corner that turns into a rather short hallway... :p

I let go of him and he zipped out of the room screaming like his pants were on fire. :whoa:

I later apologized to him...and his mother. Turns out he was a pretty good sport about everything, and he even apologized for throwing stuff. :)

I was Work Week Natty again this year... but the "new" version is not as scary ;)

Since I've moved into a new house I had a lot of the kids saying "my best friend used to live here" etc, and even some of the parents commented that they were friends of the former owners, etc. Then lo and behold, the kids that used to live here showed up, so I let them run all over the house and see their old rooms, etc... That was kinda funny!

My girlfriend went as a hooker and I went as a pimp. We went all out on our costumes...

We got about 5 houses down when other guys started yelling obscene things about her and I had to go back home before all of them died or I died trying. :debil:

EDIT: I knew her costume was a bad idea the second she tried it on for me, but she insisted that it would be ok.
