whats wrong with the dirtbike?

i just bought a 98 rm 125.

problems with it: when i took it for the test drive it ran fine. after I gave the guy the money for it and right after he left i went to start it, and it make a really loud nasty grinding/ knocking noise. Now right when i let off the throttle it just shuts off. and now the kick start wont even go down.


My friend thinks that it might either be the crank bearings or something to do with the piston?


what is the problem.?

i have no idea it ran fine during the test drive and right after the guy left that happend.
i didnt even ride it exept for the test drive

My kx spit out the rod bering and seized the engine. Prolly rod/crank bering or piston siezed in the jug.

Only one way to be 100% sure.. Tear it down and have a look.
