Lots of good stuff to be found at Chadwick! There are 125 miles of marked trail and some good single track to be found also. It is mainly all rock, from gravel type fast stuff to ledges etc. It can be ridden in the wettest of times so don't let rain worry you in that area or WRM, both are best w/moisture!!
If you drive another hour or so south, go to Fayetteville Ar, 27 miles east of there is White Rock Mountain, beautiful stuff for sure. A bit more technical than Chadwick and much more scenic ta boot. Hopefully someone in your group will have a GPS!! You may try to contact JEB, he is a member here as well as a few other sites. They just finished a ride at Chadwick and WRM, he could further define some of the areas they rode. I will be out of town that week or myself and CRSwade would join you guys!

Brian Jahelka from the BlackJackEnduro website is another great contact for both of these areas. Go onto that site and he is the webmaster, good luck and have fun.

Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it. That would have been awesome if you could have rode with us to show us the place. If anyone else in the area would be interested in riding with us, let me know. Thanks.

No problem, if we weren't going out of town already, we would be THERE!
Be sure to contact Brian, if he isn't racing, he may go, he would be a great trail guide!!

We went down to Chadwick for the WUDI V and had a great time! Lots of rocks and some nice hills. There was 1-2" on snow 3-1-03 but it was totally ridable, and by that Monday it was 60deg. The two track stuff was ok but if you could get someone to show you the single track it was awsome! I hope to go back again this spring!
Good Luck!

We stayed in Rockaway Beach about 15 miles south of Chadwick.

Is Chadwick extremely difficult? I think someone told me once that it really sucked because it was almost entirely rock and did more damage to the bike and atv than it was worth in fun. I am on vacation from March 18 - April 13 and plan on checking it out along with Whiterock, St joes park, Turkey Bay (or is it creek?) (LBL) and might possibly head down to Muenster, Tx or Moab, Ut!

Chadwick is difficult on machinery if you go down..it is mainly rock, from gravel like areas to edges and ledges, definately tough on tires and tubes..no biggie though! Ride it kind of like mud/sand, get up to speed and stay on top, it will take a little while to trust the bike under you squirming around, but the riding is great..same goes for White Rock, mountains and a little more dirt, much bigger climbs and difficulty level...great riding!!!

I can tell you that Moab is an awesome place to ride dirt bike. But if you are worried about rocks, you need to know that when you ride moab all you do is ride rock. But its great riding very challenging and unbelevable senery. If you go you have to ride Procupine Rim trail, Slickrock, Poison Spider, and Moab Rim trail, among others. I have been there 4 times and want to go again sometime maybe next winter.

the WRM riding area will be having round one of the BJEC series this weekend. It is usually a great event. I also was at the WUDI V on my
USA gasgas XC300. anyone remember seeing the guy with yellow hair hanging out from his helmet and riding the Black gas gas with the USA flag graphics?????

Chadwick is also a fun place to go but I have to caution everyone to keep feet on the pegs and not have their toes pointed down.... Right Stewart??
