Where to ride in Ventura County, CA

Hey folks,

Anyone here from Ventura County, CA? If so I'm wondering where you guys ride? I'm lookin for a place to ride that's closer/easier than a weekend trip to the desert.

Ballinger Canyon has about 70 miles of trails, maybe 25 miles of single track.

It is located just off Hwy 33, about 2 miles south of the Hwy 33 / Hwy 166 interchange. Turn onto Ballinger Canyon Road from Hwy 33 and follow it into the staging area (another few miles off of the Hwy).

Hungry Valley SVRA and trails in the Los Padres National Forest are just off I-5, at Gorman.
