I've learn this really goon style of whip and wonder what you guys do.

Turn the wheel on the lip of the jump. I cant believe how many people can do whips. I was at the arenacross a couple of months ago and saw a 50 doing little whips on table tops. And the people in first and second in 125D are doing whips over 50ft table tops.

Yea for a whip you kinda lean to the side that you whip to, and then when your in the air pull the bike towards your lean, which should bring the bike to youe and do a whip. It takes a while to learn. For a scrub I absorb the take off, turn my front wheel over the top and then push the pike downwards with my arms and legs. Kinda like a lame version of the bubba scrub. Good luck.

My 9 year old says this is a whip.

And this is a scrub, well after he scrubbed.

It's a start I guess, I let him go for it as long as I don't feel he's forgetting the basics either.

That dirt looks good! Here we only have clay or sand...not much real dirt.

You are leaning the bike one way and your body the other. If you want to whip it, you need to lean off the same side you are leaning the bike toward.
