My power valve isn't closing on my 225 so I need to tear it apart and have a look. am I supposed to use the head and base gaskets for a 200 or the 220?
Yeah...and whether you ended up having to use 110+ octane or not (and if that's what you asked for it to use, too!)
A btw...happen to know your compression ?? (measured..engine hot...kicked wide open..highest number obtained).
Ask because one 225 owner has to run race fuel (well, something other than pump anyway), and he wanted to run pump gas. Had to jet it richer than he figured, too.
Want to make sure that MY 225 runs ok on 92-pump (when it happens).
