So there I was, watching a mountain bike race this past weekend. Lots of good riders. One rider in particular that caught a lot of peoples attention was this guy hanging close to the leaders on a "singlespeed"!!........impressive to say the least. People were asking who he was. One person told me that he "thinks" he rides enduros or hare scrambles. So maybe you can help me find out who this guy is. The only thing I can tell you is that he is stocky and he looks like he could have been in the military. Oh, I almost forgot......he rides a pink bike that has "Ghetto Booty racing" on the downtube of the bicycle. Please help......who is this guy? He's freekin fast!!!

I think I saw him once in Delaware with pink stramers on his bike also.............

I saw a guy that fits that discription at the OMA in Traverse City. he was wearing pink riding gear with hearts on the pants

It must have been Mark Becker. You've described him to a tee. He was just telling me a couple weeks ago that was doing that well at the mountain bike races. So next time say hi, he looks a little gruff but he's actually a nice guy. As for the pink bike, he doesn't care what anyone else thinks :cool: , he may have gotten a good deal. I know his pink riding pants were a clearance item.

Would you expect anything less from a guy who wears pink gear with hearts and rides pink bikes? I've heard of this guy, but I thought it was just rumors.

Marks a great guy. I was at that race and talked quit abit with him he said he has nursing a ancle injure from Dutch.. any man that rides a pink bike and has a miniature doctson named rufus is ok in my book..Plus he is really fast :cool:

I haven't seen Becker in a couple of years, but all this pink stuff spells trouble. He hasn't been the same since the fat blonde waitress at Club 37 shut him down. :coocoo: She sure was looking Woodsy over though.

Yeh, that looks like him kinda. He didnt have the Burger King hat on when I saw him. He had a "foo man choo" mustache though.

I'm thinkin his definition of "Ghetto Booty" racing is different than I thought. I thought it was a sponsor for those mountain bike booties that you were when its cold.....oops. Last time I do a search for that.

Anyhow, it appears he is a good guy by your comments. I'll have to say hi the next time I see Mark at a mountain bike race.

Pink Mowhawk sighting in the portland , mi. area ! :aj:

witnesses say it was circling the area for about 3 hours !!

then left with a flashing ,gleaming object !
