Harder the better, and I'll even throw some punk in occasionally. Suicidal Tendencies,Zombie , Powerman 5000, Slayer, Purple Boscoe,Prodigy,Sugar Ray(Lemonaide and Brownies) not that crap on MTV now.Phunk Junkies 1st. CD, Lords of Acid, Glue Gun. and the list goes on......Anything that gets the aggressive attitude flowing. Although I don't like Metalica never did. The rest of your list is in my heavy rotation though.

Completely depends on my mental situation. I bounce back and forth from jazz, blues, classcial, reggae, metal, punk, hip-hop. I am very unstable. I might even throw a little country in the mix.

I think your lead-in topic belongs in the women's forum. Of course OKIE would have to stop it pretty quickly because of the mixed group of readers that we have. :p

Now as far as alternative music goes, I like:

Primal Scream: XTRMNTR (Exterminator)
All LIVE albums: Favorite Album is: Throwing Copper
All GARBAGE albums: Favorite Album is: Beautiful Garbage

I like a very broad spectrum of music, however these three are closest to what you are asking about.

If you want to try a really cool Chris*ian band try
Third Day: Album: Coming Together

Hard to beleive that the word ********* (Chris tian) is automatically deleted like its a vulgar word. Oh well, it's your site Okie.

I agree with Kelvin. My mood changes from time to time and I'll listen to just about anything, except Latin music. I just can't get into it. I play violin about 4-5 times a week and I love a good blues cd, but for the most part the harder the better. :) :aj:

BTW...The question wasn't limited to just rock. If you listen to something else speak up. I DID ask what other types of music people enjoy. :)

Hard and fast.
Soulfly, Five Point O, Strife, Mud Vayne, One Minute Silence, Mag 44, Stained (their first album, not that wussy crap they sing now)... The list goes on.

Almost anything else except jazz, rap, or pop.

My tastes are very different. When I was younger it was all metal all the time. Anything else just sucked. I would not classify myself at all now. If I like it I listen to it. What ever type of music that maybe. I have all kinds of CDs in my collection.

So what you're saying is that you like pop.
By the way none of those groups are punk rock.

I totally agree. I think him listening to what he does effects his spelling and grammer. Anyone else notice that?

Also I love the screaming in actual hard rock not the wanna be rock. You can actually bang your head to it where as if you were listening to your bands it'd be more like singing in a Britney Spear's tone. :p :uh:

There is some decent Neo-Punk out there. Check out the Hives' release Veni Vidi Vicious and White Blood Cells by White Stripes.

Punk rules!
