I have seen hold down shoes that grab the front tire and that's all you need to hold the bike. Does anyone know who makes them or sells them?

Chapparal has them perpetually on sale at 79.99. It's called an ATK Bi,e shoe. Seen 'em, but don't know how well they work, but it'd be cool not to compress the forks...

I`ve used one for 3 years & it works great! They sure cut down on the load & unload time. I only wish I would have got one sooner.

I bought a pair of unpainted bike shoes on E-bay for $100. Upon inspection \ comparison to the ATK bike shoes, I have been unable to discern any major differences in quality or function.

I just bought 2 from Chaparral for 69.97 each plus 11.99 shipping. MX South wanted 91.95 each no shipping. Just thought you would like to know. Has anyone fixed up a nice way to mount these so you can put them in and out fast with some kind of flush mount?

I see them on ebay all the time. A few guys seemed to have copied the design with a few small differences.
