Riding in the dirt is great fun and it's not just for guys. So where are the womenfolk? We live in an era where female athleticism is encouraged and supported and yet, I'm not seeing that many female riders. Why do you think that is? Is it the sport that is unappealing, are the obstacles too many to overcome...what bike, learning to ride, where to go, hauling the bike, blah, blah, blah, is it perceived male attitudes, or the danger factor? I see so many women supporting their spouses, children or boyfriends at tracks and meets.... Why can't they be riding too? Please spread the joy of riding to the ladies. And ladies, get out there! It's FUN!
