Why Can't I line up the brake caliper with the axle on my CR?

Hey all,

Im currently having a very stipid and bloody frustrating problem with my 03 CR250.

I cannot get the rear caliper hole (where the axle goes though) to line up with the wheel so I can put the axle though.   Its like its caught on something, but I can't see anything that it is.   I have taken the wheel off and put it back on many times before, but I have never had this problem.  Does anyone at all have any tips for re installation of the rear wheel?   People must have had this problem before, and there must be a way around it.
