I found a set of USD forks off of a '94 kdx200 for cheap and was wondering if they would fit my '92 kdx 200 that has conventional forks? Would they slide right into the clamps, or would I need to switch out the steering stem, clamps and all?

You will also need at least the caliper, hose and fork guards (to properly route the hose). The axle is also different, as to how it mounts in the axle lugs.

I don't know if the wheel will work or not, though it may if spaced out properly.

I agree with Matt90gt.I have the usd forks on my 90sr.I have modded the shim stack which has improved them but they are compression adjustable only.Im on the lookout for some kx forks as my next up grade.

Thanks for the info. If I am going to that much trouble I may as well do the KX125 forks instead. What year KX would fit my '92 KDX?

Any year will fit since you've got to swap steering stems. I'd shoot for 96+ but a pair of 94 or 95 forks in good shape would be worth it as well.
