I am totally confused with the AMA. what message does this send out now to everyone? Go ahead and do whatever, we dont have any B@lls to back it up if you appeal it? Maybe the point deduction was too high, agreed, but I would think at the appeal that they would lessen the amount of points then to vanquish it.

Dont get me wrong, I like K-dub, but the AMA should've stuck to their guns. If you're gonna make the call, stick with it, or dont make the call to begin with.
.
I wonder if the same appeal came from a rider in the 10-20 rankings, would have been overturned. (since K-dub is in 2nd place and at this point in time, the best contender for Reed).
..
Also, what happens if the series goes to Vegas to be decided, 2 riders are neck and neck with points. what if someone makes a questionable pass, do they get docked, without an appeal if the season is over?
Confused

Yeah! Just like the NFL... we would sure hope to NOT find-out a human made a bad call....

YZBlitzRider, don't you wish you never hit the "Submit Reply" button for your post.

Maybe YZBlitzRider just doesn't know who KDub is and confused him for another rider. Else as Niki said... he's an idiot!

Nikki please don't hold back tell him what you really mean. RFLMAO watching K-dub in person as we get to sometime around here :p the guy is the absolute smoothest rider I have ever seen. In the process of hauling A$$ he seems to be just floating around the track effortlessly.
God given talent. GO K-DUB!!!! :aj:

"His apparent tatics are not what champions are made of"

What I meant by this is that most champions I've seen before don't waste there energy, or more importantly their time, trying to take out their competition:| It only slows you down. I've seen riders lose several postions due to their "mental set" to battle in this manner. Charmichael, Reed, McGrath, to name a few, demonstrate to have their focus on one thing - speed and total flow/control of their bike and the technical challenges of the track. Get around the guy and finish first! :thumb:

So you don't remember RC putting Roncada down outdoors a couple years back?

I guess you have not seen the 1986 Anaheim, 1987 Superbowl of SX or the 1987 Pontiac? Lots of take out moves there and even retaliation by a lapped rider when RJ came back around.

Also, Henry (my favorite of all time) got into his share of scrapes with other riders. Then there is Emig and Lusk and...

Funny...whilst I thought it was a take out executed with total precision!!!!. KW doesn't have a history of doing that. Point deductions on a first offence.....total rubbish....maybe after strike 3 that could be warranted. Plus I remember he said if you hit me well Ill hit you back . I notice how he and Chad swap around with room. Chad hasn't touched him up....so KW has had no reason to reply in kind...thus they just race. Same when he races RC in the outdoors. Maybe come the last few rounds if the points are close paint may swap...but then you could justify it at that time!!!!

I'd be willing to bet that had DV put that move in the 2nd turn on RC instead of K-Dub you would not have had to wait for DV to make contact on the block pass in turn 3 as RC would have punted him straight on.
