my friend asked me to restore his dt175 so i will be doing that as well as my elsie and building the expansion chamber and my friends kawasaki tecate 4-wheelerand of course my 91 chevy s-10 blazer is getting a 350 small block an a new paint job candy apple red

I have a 1975 TS-185 that I have been threatening to rebuild for over a decade. Maybe this winter. Maybe.

My "old bike" winter projects will be finishing off a 1976 Suzuki GT380 - not really a restoration, but getting back to running condition. and a 1976 Penton 250 Cross Country. It will be a rider bike, so i wont do much cosmetically, so will focus on rideability. Enginewise it has very recent crank up rebuild, so I am set there. Really all I plan to do is some new shocks (anyone have any shocks around 15" long?), brakes, tires, new grips and other odds and ends. I just spent about a hour out riding it on my grass track - boy I love riding that bike! Amazing how riding a bike with (compared to modern stuff) 1/2 the suspension, hard hitting power, crappy brakes, crappy handling etc. can but such a HUGE grin on my face!

And of course, my normal winter go through on the "modern" bikes (3 - my boys bikes and my bike).

Oh, someone in a prior post mentioned looking for plastic for a Suzuki RM80. Check out this web site : http://vintage-suzuki.com/ great source for anything for older Suzukis.

This I understand..my favorite bike to ride is my 1979 KTM 420 MC80. Nice power, Amazing handling for its age (any age) and feels like a feather weight as compared to a modern fourstroke. I can over look its jack hammer forks and seat/tank junction that want to pinch..not a good place for that! (I am a feet up, stand up rider anyway..)
