I've thought about the lighting system . . . I have access to a couple different lighting systems from a HID helmet light to normal mountain bike helmet lights. My bike has a headlight. The two combined should do okay. I definitely need to practice night riding in the interim!

I have a Night Owl mountain bike light we could try. It got me and my little TTR back to the truck after dark a few times. I dunno how it would be in a race, but maybe combined with other light sources.

that's something that I thought of as well, do any of us have night riding experience? I know I don't! And the light was taken off the KTM, so I can't practice either... we have lights on the quads...but I don't think that's going to help with how it will feel on a bike.
Is the course lit up at all, or do you have to rely soley on your headlight?
