i'm getting a new bike. i will either be getting a 04 yz125 or a 04-05 wr250f. i race harescrambles in the B class and weigh 190ish w/ gear. now last season i was on an 03 yz125 and loved it, i'm just kinda lookin for somethin that is easier to ride because i think it will make me faster in the technical stuff and the sloppy stuff, you just have to werk the crap out of the 125's. also, an issue with the wr is the added cost of maintainence (motor) and my lack of knowledge on 4 stroke maintainence. i can handle everything but splitting the cases on my 125, but ya throw timing chains, oil filters, valves, cams, etc. into the mix and my head starts to hurt. also, what sort of break in is needed? i'm also kind concerned that i'll be riding the 250F like a 125 and cause premature motor problems. any advice and knowledge you can share will be appreciated. thanx :)

i'm considering getting an 05 wr250f. I am really worried about the maintainance. Mainly the motor maintainance. I just dont want to have something serious happen in the motor and have to spend big bucks to fix it. I'm aware that odd-ball things can happen and there is a risk of dropping a valve or whatever, but am i gonna be fairly safe and not have to worry too much about this thing grenading on me.
THANX
