I've had a chance to ride a few of the '04's and right out of the box, it's definitly better than the '03 set up. Stutter bump/braking bump compliance is much improved in the fork and the shock tracks really straight in whoops and no longer has that feeling like it just blows through the stroke and then pogo's you off.
But, everybody's different and therefore it won't be "magic" for everyone.
