XL100 Big bore Kits

Hi All,

I have two Honda XL100 motors, one is a 1980 XL100SA, the other has an engine numbers HD01E-5000666.

I am putting one engine in a big wheel KX80 chassis and the other probably into a CR80 big wheel. I have seen loads of sites offering big bore kits for the xr100 but no -one has too much info on doing the XL100.

Please can anyone help me, I would really like to make these little engines sweet, I dont want to lose reliability or run on race gas.

xr 100 has the same motor as the xl100. the only difference in the bike is all the stuff that makes the xl street legal.

what year is the xl?
