My 12 year old's 2000 model XR 80 clutch pull is too hard and I have installed an MSR EZ pull lever to ease it somewhat but it is still too difficult. It is harder to pull than my 98 KDX 220. Does anyone have suggestions to lighten it up even further? I thought about the Moose EZ cable adapter but someone from the thumper forum advised that the XR cable will not fit the adapter. Maybe it is possible to install lighter springs, but from what engine? Any help will be appreciated since all of the auto-clutch bikes are just too small physically for my kid.

If you want to spend the money look into a hydraulic clutch.  I installed one on my RM250 and it is easier to pull than my kids CR80.  One of the best mods that I have done for the money(@$200).
