Hey. I've recently looked at the XR250 year models 2001 and up, and the CRF230. What do you find are pro's and con's of both bikes? There both about the same weight. I hear there both great trail riding bikes. (I mostly ride trails,do hill climbing, and I'll try the occassional jump (under 5 feet) ). I am 15, 5'11 and 155lbs. I have a year of riding expirience on an 81' XR100. Which bike would you suggest?

Go with the 250. It is an enduro bike vs. trail. it has lights and is more heavy duty. You could jump it a little bit more than the 230.

I have a XR250... well sort of it's a bit beyond that now and have ridden a CRF230, comparing stock to stock I'd say the XR250 would fit your height better. The 230 has the magic button and it is pretty nice to have, especially if you kill it on a steep hill climb. Both bikes are not ment as MX track weapons so expecting to do much of that type of riding is just asking for frustration. They serve pretty similar jobs but the 230 is a little smaller both in displacement and stature. Pretty much pick the one that you like the best, you'll be happy with either choice.

Yea I was just looking at the RM125. Also the RMX250. I can get a good deal on an RM125 so I might go that way :) .
