Ok so i have a 2002 Honda XR250r that I bought used. It came with a white bros e series pipe on it. It sounds great, and i was told that the guy before tuned the jetting for it. So I still have the stock air filter in and bought an Uni. I would like to "uncork" it and take the air box restrictor out and put the Uni filter in. I'm a jetting newb and havent been riding too long. I took the carb appart and cleaned it and found it had a #45 pilot, #132 main, and a j9kc needle in the second position. So i need some good advice on how to jet this puppy, as I am reluctant to dig in my myself since i have no money to fix mistakes. Thnks!

If your going to give the engine more air to work with you'll need to fatten up the jetting a bit. Just take it up one step at a time with the jets and lower the clip(raising the needle) one notch at a time until it's dialed in. Also, if at all possible throw on an FMF Q or something to bring it down to a pleasant tone instead of an obnoxious roar!
