XT 225 pegs

My wife has settled on getting an XT225 to serve as her new scoot. It would have been a CRF150F if there was an electric start version. (The 230's are just too tall, the TTR 125 was too small...)

Anyhooo, the pegs on this bike are pretty tiny, so I'm looking for some aftermarket pegs. Does anyone know if there's someplace to get these? I haven't found any yet, for the XT or the TTR 225. I have found them listed for the TTR-125, is the mount the same between the 125 and the 225?

The TTR125 peg mounts are different than say a YZ/YZF, but I managed to get a set of pegs off a YZ250F onto my TTR125. I had to cut one coil off the return springs and then bend a "catch" into them (not easy, but doable). I also had to grind the tube where the pegs pivot down about 1-2mm to fit inside the mounts on the TTR. I can post detailed pics this afternoon if you want, just let me know.

You can kinda tell how much I had to grind off by how much the pivot pin is sticking up on the RH peg. And cutting the spring coil is no biggie, but bending that new tab takes some patience!

Goto www.mxriders.com they have aftermarket pegs for the TTr 225 and as you kno is the same bike as the xt 225. They will fit right on there. i think they are $99
