Yamaha IT400E

[IT400ED]

I'm new to the forum and I just got hold of an IT400E parked on the side of a house for almost 10 years. O wiuld love to get this bike running again. THe previous owner parked it there when he joined law enforcement and until then it was still running. I need some advice on how to get this going before investing lot of money in it. I appreciate any help. Thanks.

Try the Vintage forum or the general bike repair forum with regard to the IT400.

BTW cool bike, I lusted over that and the G model (I think it was) IT200.

Be sure and go to your User CP and update information relating to your location, type of riding, etc. After that grab a spot on the couch and tell us a bit about yourself. How long you have been riding, what kind of riding you prefer, where you are located, etc. We will do our best to hook you up with some fellow dirt bike enthusiasts.
