hi, i have a 1986 yamaha tt225 and i recently blew my second pinion gear. i have the part and i have my motor all apart. when i split the block i had the motor on the clutch side and pull the other side off so the trany is sitting on one side. both second gears are right on top so its realy convinient. the second gear wheel slide right off but the second pinion gear doesnt want to come off. it looks like it is just pressed on and the new gear doesnt have splines or a keyway so im thinking this must be true. however i tryed to heat it up and pull it off with a puller this didnt work and im out of ideas. please help
