Looking 4 a new bike Yamaha WR 250 1999 or suzuki RMX 250 1999 offroad ...mainly trails, dirt mounds, etc. it has to be registered i have had a CR250 and a RM 500.... love the two stroke's...
They are better geared (Enduro box is purpose built and better than the WR in terms of longevity), the RMX is more "tunable" for less bucks, has grease nipples where you need them - hence easier maintenance and was the absolute dogs b****** of its day in the enduro and trail situation. A learner can ride one and have fun and then a pro can take the same bike, enter it in a comp and win!
I have had both bikes, at one time owning both a WR and RMX. One of them had to go and guess what? I still have the RMX - thats says it all!
