yerf dog

I am looking at a 8hp offroad go-cart type buggy called a yerf-dog. Has anybody had any luck with this cart or brand? They sell them at Academy sports if your familiar with that store. Can anybody suggest a good one around the $2000 mark or under. Thanks.. I ride a 02 KDX 220 and want to get my wife a buggy to follow around on. She is not sure about riding a bike just yet.

I'd be more inclinced to get her a 4 wheeler. I don't have any experience with the little go carts they sell, but I KNOW you'll be able to get parts for a 4 wheeler. Plus, she'll sit up alot higher and not only be able to see better but also to be seen.

I'd go with the four wheeler as well. My brothers bought a couple of the beefy versions at $1500 a piece and we have have had the frames welded a least three times. This is upseting because they look tuff but when you get them out on the trail they are underpowered and will beat the crap out of you unless you a riding on a golf course... Anyway my ranting and raving aside the honda 300ex is the right scoot IMHO- jOshUa

If your want to get her a go-kart get a Honda Odyssey FL 250. Its like a go-kart with a Honda 250cc engine it in. Look one up on e*bay, they usually arent too expensive and should be more fun then that yerf-dog.

Those yerf dogs will not be to fun. There meant for open fields that are level for the most part. They wont be able to go up any type of hard incline that may have turns or small things in the way. I say go with a quad or the honda pilot or odyssey. I think the honda pilot was the bigger version of the two, but you should be able to find one kinda cheap
