Well after about 8 months the bikes running and moving. I cleaned the carb today and everything was plugged. Put it back together and 2nd kick she fired right up. These vintage bikes have a nice throaty sound. Its loud which isnt too good but where I ride its in the middle of no where so it doesnt matter. Cant wait to get it out on the trails! :ride:

I've seen a really mint 1988 CR250..boy did that thing purr. It was so nice. The guy let it idle in the back of his truck, and it just sat there, idling. I was amazed at how nice it sounded.

I have a 88 cr250 and man they are nice bikes. Iwent on a poker run today and this thing just ripped past mass new bikes with all sorts of aftermarket stuff(mines stock). And for 800 bucks they not a bad deal either for a fast bike.

I dont know about the oldies being faster than new. My 77 rm125 was nowhere near as fast as my 92 rm125. Neither of which could come at all close to my 02 rm250. Nonetheless the old bikes are a blast, just like the new ones.
