i have a 2003 yz 125. ive had it for about a year and noticed that the compartment case on the cylinder where the power valves are always seems to be dripping oil out of the breather tube after i get done from riding it. is this normal, or is the bike being run to rich?

it's a good idea to clean the powervalve every once in a while, at the same time you should be cleaning out that area...

My CR125 has a bolt that can be removed so that any spooge buildup can be drained.. The KX85 has a rubber tube that drains it away.

Carb cleaner should be fine.. So long as everything moves freely, it should be fine.

You should take the powervalve petals out and make sure they don't have any carbon buildup on them.. Might have to scrape them or take a wire brush to em..
