YZ 144???forward motion

thinking of upgrading my sons 125 to a 144 thru eric gore. Anyone else have one and care to comment. I would love to buy my son a new bike, but not going to happen in the next year. Anyhow we are getting close to 30 hrs on this topend and thinking of making it a 144.
Any comments

It's worth the time and effort. Not sure what Eric charges now, but the difference is pretty big. Try a general search or a search of my posts in Winter/Spring 06 for more info.

495.00 i already emailed and recieved this. Not that bad considering the porting. My cylinder wasnt out of spec last time but it was on the verge of being out.
Makes sense to me.
What type fuel and octane rating are you running in your 144? i can get 100 octance sunoco race fuel near here, or I wonder if we will need to go with a specific vp?

eric can make the bike run on pump but it wouldnt hurt to use a good quality 100 octane. Unless he cuts the head a good amount it will need higher octane. It is up to you on what you want done.
