YZ 450F Hot header

I have a 03 YZ 450f with a FMF tiatinum powerbomb header that when I let it sit and idle for a minute of so it turns glowing red hot. I can't say I have noticed it while moving but sitting at idle its noticable. Is this normal? Thanks for the help.
