YZ Cylinder

My riding buddy blew up his 99' YZ250,and the cylinder is no good.Does anyone know where he can buy a new cylinder for a good price? We are going to call around to see how much it cost to resleeve it,but I think a new cylinder is better,and faster.

if it is scored to bad you can bore it then replate it. eric gorr does the service and can get you upto 275cc! from what i have seen on these forums the quality is excellent and you can get it ported how you want it at the same time

resleeving is not considered the best method, (i am led to believe) i think the heat transfer charachteristics (of an iron sleeve) are not good in an MX bike application
