Yes, you can use both an email client and webmail. (you can tell webmail to leave the message on the server for later downloading by your email client too)
Sending over DRN mail: That depends on your ISP,,, many will not allow you to use outgoing mail servers other than theirs if you are on their network. Mine for example won't allow it. I have to use the ISP supllied SMTP (outgoing) mail server to send mail. I can have my reply address that shows-up set to "dirtrider.net" though...
Okie,
When I went to log into the mail server, my system(Mozilla) told me that the certificate does not match the site name, therefore was not to be trusted. IE also alerts the same.
Certificate is owned by: 15.10-0-1.reverse.theplanet.com
Is this in fact your certificate?
If not, there may be a info stealing virus afoot.
That cert is fine! "theplanet" is my data center and owns theoverall certification.
You can safely install it (if that's an option for you) or simply proceed. It's all good.
DRN WebMail Error
Sorry, DRN WebMail is currently disabled for maintenance work. You can logout by clicking here. DRN WebMail will be available again shortly.
I have got this myself for the last couple of days. I thought it was a coincidence on my part ... maybe not.
That's the old email program... that was discontinued on the 10th of June. The email we are talking about here are accessed at http://dirtrider.net/webmail. To keep the link the same, there is a redirect there, that takes you to the new programs. OF the three available, SquirrelMail is the best choice.
Did you ask for a new pop email account? You sure can't log-in without one, lol. Looks like you also have PM's turned-off so I won't be able to send you the info either.
