How many links in an XR50 chain?

I need your help. I'm on the road on business and would like to place an order for a chain for my son's 2003 XR50. How many links?

Stock 14/37 gearing should take 78 link 420 chain.

IMO buying chains with the exact amount of links is a mistake unless you are absolutely certain of the size. Get them longer and use an inexpensive chain breaker.

I agree fully, and have a chain breaker. I just didn't want to buy a 130 link chain if I could get by with 120, or 110, or 100...

You may have a hard time finding less than a 120 link #420. (top shelf chains, that is)

just call up the place and order a stock chain for an 03 xr 50
