REPLACEMENT THROTTLE HOUSING?and WHACKER hand gaur

My son smashed his throttle housing on his 220 this last weekend.A new one from KAWASAKI is almost $60.00.I have seen other aftermarket twist throttle assemblys for $20-$30(MotionPro Turbo Throttle),will these other aftermarket assemblys work with the stock cable or do you have to buy special cables?

Also,has anyone tried the new WHACKER hand gaurds by a company called MotoNation yet?They have been having full page ads in all the latest magazines.
