YZ250F/YZ400F i need advice!

Hi,

Im looking at purchasing a YZ250F or the 400. Im looking at at getting one only a cpl of years old.

How much maintenance is required with these bikes? I know they are a 4-stroke motor but do they still need the maintenance of a 2-stroke??

I dont know much about 2-strokes. What is the maintenance like on a 2-stroke bike? How often will i need to have it re-built, etc and wat does this roughly cost for a shop to do it??

the maintainance costs are far more for a 4 stroke than a 2 stroke.

i thought it would be the other way around.
thought a 2stroke would be alot more maintenance.
doesnt a 2 stroke have to be rebuilt all the time? Alot more than a 4stroke?

A 2 stroke needs more maintenance and is not as expensive as a 4 stroke but when a 4 stroke needs maintenance it is more expensive because a 4 stroke has more moving parts that need to be replaced or repaired.
