00 cr250 piston

i have a 2000 cr250 showing a little bit of blow by under the bottom ring when looking in the exhaust port i was thinking of doing a rebuild. What kind of piston should i go with it has always had stock and i am being told that i might be better off going with something else.

you should go with weisco they have the Best pistons out there. Stock parts are way to expensive.

I think you will find that Service Honda's prices on OEM pistons are pretty good. Probably better than your local dealer and comparable to mail order Wiseco.

I never had problems with OEM on my '99 and I had that bike for at least 5 years.

I doubt there is any performance difference between the two.
